Emergent Action. It’s in the name
We understand that creating change through influencing the conditions in society that enable women, children, young people and families to flourish emerges from the relationships between people, organisations/institutions and the ecosystems that are they in.
Context Matters
We simultaneously shape and are shaped by the systems and conditions around us. It’s a dynamic relationship, where we are enabled and constrained, and in turn, we create opportunities for ourselves and for others. We journey with you to create emergence and help you move to action and impact.

Jane started her journey wanting to understand how change happens and under what conditions. She has accumulated a lifetime of knowledge (and is still learning!) and invests in a network of extraordinary collaborators to support change at all scales.
Emergent Action is a social enterprise. We work as part of a constellation; strengthening the work of others to create positive impact. Annually we contribute around 50 days of pro-bono or low-bono work to the for-purpose sector.
